My Journey
Minister Yolanda Taylor is dedicated to spreading God's love and sharing the good news through her unique platform, "Coffee, Scripture & Prayer." This ministry, birthed out of her divine calling, provides a weekly dose of God’s word and prayer in a non-traditional way—while sipping on a cup of coffee. It’s a space where Yolanda connects with people across the world, offering spiritual nourishment and encouragement, making God’s love accessible and relatable.
Growing up in the church as a preacher's kid, Yolanda's life has always been deeply rooted in faith. She watched her mother, the late Rev. Arlene Motley-Spells, dedicate her life to sharing the word of God, praying for others, and offering help in various ways. This lifelong foundation in the church shaped Yolanda's own journey of faith, leading her to answer the call to ministry.
In 2006, Yolanda was licensed and later, in 2024, she was ordained, further solidifying her commitment to God's work. Her ministry is marked by a passion for spreading His love, kindness, and the transformative power of prayer.
Yolanda Taylor’s approach is non-traditional yet deeply impactful, making faith a tangible part of everyday life. Through "Coffee, Scripture & Prayer," she continues to fulfill her mission of ministering to others, just as her mother did before her. Yolanda aims to take her ministry to the masses, creating spaces for conversations that reflect God’s love and kindness.
Yolanda is married to David and she’s the proud mother of Christal, Ryan Alexis, David II, and Jacobi, and the grandmother of an amazing grandson, Aristotle. She is also the fur mom to Bentley, honoring the memory of her beloved Bailey Olivia.
